Annette Ayala-Martinez

Annette Ayala-Martinez brings to Gorman Health Group clients more than 14 years of expertise in Medicare enrollment, appeals and grievances and Medicare operations.  Annette has experience in Medicare Advantage plans and many years working with the special needs of the dual eligible population.

Since joining GHG, Annette has worked with several clients to achieve positive results.  Recently, Annette provided strong managerial and operational experience to a health plan’s enrollment department during AEP.  Annette led and supported a team of employees to develop workflow queues for disenrollments and cancellations. She also provided best practices and direction on the processing of enrollment and disenrollment transactions. In addition, Annette helped to develop a 25-hour Enrollment department training program.

Annette is a strong leader for providing gap analysis and audit services for our clients for Part C and Part D Appeals and Grievances and Enrollment operations to ensure CMS compliance.  Annette is also an expert in the development of CMS compliant policies and procedures.

Prior to her work at GHG, Annette held management positions with Universal Care (HMO California), Molina Medicare Health Plan, and Care1st Health Plan.
