Emily Pfister

Senior Consultant, Pharmacy

Emily Pfister has more than a decade of experience across a variety of information technology projects having held roles in development, business analysis, and project management.  She brings to GHG clients a focus on the design and implementation of practical solutions that meet the complex business, technical, and compliance needs associated with Medicare Part D.  With her strong database programming and project management background, Emily works closely with GHG clients across functional areas to manage all aspects of the solution design process.

In her role at Gorman Health Group, Emily has served on a variety of client engagements including RetroLICs redesign, claims adjustment analysis and process design, N1 transaction processing, and PDE reviews.  Emily combines her technical skills and abilities with strong communication skills to deliver GHG clients seamless programmer and end-user coordination and cooperation.

Prior to her role at GHG,  Emily was the Manager of IT Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program implementation for a leading PBM, focusing on all IT aspects of implementing a Medicare Part D program.  These aspects included claims processing, vaccine administration, Prescription Drug Event (PDE), Member Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Gap Coverage Discount, and other Medicare required programs.  Prior to that, Emily was the Manager of IT Project Management where she lead a team of project managers and business analysts to deliver IT strategic projects focused on Medicare Part D and pharmacy processing.  Previous projects include enterprise security, file management, PDE systems, claims adjustment engine, and more.
