Frank Erwin brings to Gorman Health Group (GHG) over 20 years of experience in Medicare/Medicaid and commercial provider network development, business development, and managed care contracting strategies. He has balanced experience on the payer side and provider side of the healthcare equation in both for profit and not-for-profit settings. Frank has developed and implemented strategies for Medicare/Medicaid managed care organizations, health facilities, and physician practices at both the field and executive levels. Some recent completed projects include:

Network development for national PFFS Medicare Advantage plan adding PPO product for CMS filing. Project included recruitment of all physician and facility specialties, analysis of CMS time/distance network access standards, and development of exception reports.

Regional network development for single product Medicare Advantage HMO plan. Project included recruitment of all physician and facility specialties in a highly competitive market.

Specialty recruitment for a Medicare Advantage plan in FL focused on diagnostic imaging.
Along with his extensive experience in negotiation of contracts for hospitals, surgery centers, imaging centers and physician providers, Frank has demonstrated skills in relationship management, sales and marketing, staff training, and business development. Prior to joining GHG he held executive management positions with Windsor Health Group, MedSolutions, and Surgical Care Affiliates. In the last 12 years, his professional activities have focused specifically on growing business through provider network development and payer contracting.
Frank holds a bachelors degree from the University of Illinois and a MBA degree from the Kellogg School, Northwestern University.
