John C. Hays

John Hays brings more than thirty years of experience in health plan management, health plan consulting and network development to Gorman Health Grout (GHG). John’s experience includes senior management assignments in health maintenance organizations, health systems and consulting firms.
John has focused on network development and contracting for Medicare Advantage plans at GHG. His contracting work has helped plans meet CMS network compliance standards and maintain their existing territory or expand geographically. Services include provider network analysis, reimbursement strategy, contracting and Health Service Delivery table creation.
John has had broad experience in network development and contracting for health plans. His responsibilities included securing regulatory approval for provider agreements, the identification of potential and needed network providers and obtaining provider agreements from those providers.
Prior to his role at GHG, John held senior management positions with organizations such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ohio, Metlife Health Care Network and Generations Family Health Plan. He also held the position of Senior Consultant at the Medimetrix Group.
