Julie Billman

Julie Billman provides Gorman Health Group clients more than 16 years experience managing Medicare Advantage and Part D operations in a compliant and efficient manner.  Julie’s background in a combination of operations and compliance experience offers a unique perspective to GHG clients.  Clients look to Julie to improve operational functions, to maximize plan revenue, and to educate plan staff to understand and own the Medicare requirements that govern their functions.

Julie’s areas of expertise include Enrollment/Disenrollment, Reconciliation, PDE and Risk Adjuster Edit Resolution, Appeals and Grievances, COB/MSP for Part C and D, Customer Service, CTMs, CMS PBP bid entry and annual document creation, CMS Financial Audit preparation and coordination, and audit preparation and review.  She is also experienced in writing policies and procedures, developing monitoring tools, and providing staff training.

Prior to joining Gorman Health Group, Julie held various management positions in the Medicare Advantage industry.  Her most recent position was as Director of Product and Regulatory Analysis at Capital BlueCross.  This position involved staff training, process improvement, and monitoring and auditing with all levels of the business that touched MA or Part D. This position also included coordinating numerous CMS and other Government operational and financial audits.  Before working at Capital, Julie held various management positions over a 14 year career with Coventry Health Care, including Director of PDEs and Business Reporting and Director of Medicare Compliance.  Julie also managed the Medicare enrollment, billing, and reconciliation unit at Coventry.
