Sherry Pound

Sherry brings to Gorman Health Group clients a strong mix of business, regulatory and information technology knowledge with Medicare Part D and general PBM operations.  Her areas of expertise include a focus on operational areas of Medicare Part D including claim processing, data management, reporting and PDEs.   She has extensive knowledge of the regulatory requirements of Medicare and best practices for the implementation of accurate and cpmpliant programs.

Most recently, Sherry was the Director of Government Programs at a leading PBM.  She was responsible for the implementation and support of the Medicare Part D programs and services. Her role included leadership responsibilities for interpreting CMS requirements and implementing business and system services required of the MA-PD and PDP customers.  

In addition to her background in Medicare, Sherry has in assisted businesses to further their understanding of requirements and to evaluate and implement solutions for their most complex projects.  Sherry has more than 13 years of experience in designing and implementing IT driven solutions to complex multi-year projects to meet client and regulated requirements.
