Debra Devereaux, MBA, R.PH., FASHP

Deb Devereaux brings to Gorman Health Group clients extensive Medicare and Medicaid prescription drug operational leadership experience.  Her tenured experience has been sought by numerous health plans, PDPs and PBMs. 

Debra has led many engagements for GHG, including the development of applications for new and expanding MA-PDs and SNPs, prescription drug event reconciliation, and PBM compliance review and audits. Deb’s specialization in the Part D elements, including pharmacy and therapeutics committees, utilization management, delegated function oversight and provider communication, have made her an invaluable member of the GHG mock audit and audit preparation teams for MA-PDs and PDPs.

Prior to her work at GHG, Debra was manager of the Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Program for Wyoming Medicaid and an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. In addition, she served as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at University Hospital in Denver where she served on the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and supervised the satellite pharmacies.

She is a past President of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and has served on several councils, commissions and committees for ASHP. In addition, she served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the American Drug Utilization Review Society. In 2003, she received the Distinguished Coloradan Award from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and she is a current appointee of the Pharmacy Quality Alliance PSTAC.

Deb is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and published in the areas of drug utilization, mentoring, SNPs, and Pharma strategic planning.
