Director of Corporate Communications

Carol Sardinha, Director of Corporate Communications with GHG, oversees and develops the company’s strategic marketing and communications tools, provides content development expertise, and supports GHG’s pharmaceutical accounts.

Carol has more than 17 years of strategic healthcare business-to-business communications experience and in-depth knowledge of managed care. Most recently, she was Senior Director of Managed Markets Development with Bimark Medical Communications, New Jersey.  Prior to that, she spent six years at Medco Health Solutions, managing communications projects and developing strategic content to support account management and clients on emerging business, regulatory, and clinical operations and initiatives.  Carol previously served as Director of Communications for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.

Carol began her career as a journalist for United Press International  before moving on to serve as chief reporter and editor for several Washington-based healthcare industry trade publications, including Managed Care Outlook, where she earned two awards for   outstanding writing and reporting  among her peers.

Carol graduated cum laude from Georgetown University.  She is currently active in the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), where she serves as Co-Editor of the The HBA Bulletin, which is read by pharmaceutical and healthcare industry executives nationally.
