Darlene Mednick, R.Ph., MBA, PhD, FAMCP
Vice President, Pharmacy Services

Darlene M. Mednick  has more than 28 years of pharmacy management and managed care pharmacy experience, including  experience with e-prescribing, electronic health records, long term care, and community pharmacy practice. As Vice President of Pharmacy Services, Darlene plays a lead role in developing and refining Gorman Health Group’s pharmacy capabilities.She also lends her depth of experience to support  specific GHG consulting engagements, build and enhance the GHG pharmacy team, and assist with business development and sales.

Darlene comes to GHG from Touchstone Health HMO (MAPD) in New York,where she managed their entire Part D program, including operational management, as well as compliance with CMS requirements. Prior to Touchstone Health, Darlene was responsible for starting up a PBM in Madison, Wisconsin called Navitus Health Solutions.  During her career, Darlene has also worked in various professional and leadership capacities with Medco Health Solutions, HIP of NY, Prudential, and Catalis Health.

In addition to being a pharmacist, Darlene holds an MBA in Marketing, and a PhD in Healthcare Management. She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and serves on the Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy (FMCP) Education and Research Committee.

In April 2007, Darlene was the recipient of the FMCP Steven G. Avey Lifetime Achievement award "in recognition of sustained, exemplary and distinguished leadership, vision and dedication to managed care pharmacy."

Darlene lives in the New York City area with her husband, Mitch.
