
Nathan Goldstein is Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for Gorman Health Group, the leading consulting firm in Medicare managed care. In this capacity, he is responsible for the development of new business solutions and consulting capabilities for the managed care industry. Key initiatives in recent years have included:Leprechaun – an HCC management outsourcing solution for Medicare MCOs; Medicare eLead: a lead distribution and management solution for the Medicare Managed care industry; Medicare Sales Certification: A compliance certification program for brokers working on behalf of health plans; and MDS, GHG’s proprietary data mapping tool for tracking the Medicare managed care industry.
A member of GHG’s senior leadership team, he has been central to the transformation of the most prolific product development consultancy into the industry into a provider of full-spectrum revenue management services and advisor on health plan transactions, on both the buy and sell side. Previous to taking this role, Mr. Goldstein was Vice President of Client Services, where he focused on project management, system development and program effectiveness initiatives as the firm tripled in size. At this time, he also served as director of GHG’s pharmaceutical practice.
Immediately before entering the Medicare managed care marketplace, Mr. Goldstein was an independent political and corporate ghostwriter whose clients included Presidential candidates, members of the U.S. Congress, network news anchors, Fortune 500 CEOs and one infamous Gonzo journalist. He specialized in writing on health care related topics, and on behalf of his clients, his writings have been syndicated in over 100 newspapers nationwide. Mr. Goldstein is the former Director of Communications of the University of Hawaii Foundation, where he oversaw fundraising communications for the 10 campus University systems. He is an avid jazz guitarist, and lives with his wife, Lia and daughter Aria in Washington, D.C.
