Deb Devereaux

Senior Vice President, Pharmacy



Deb Devereaux is Senior Vice President of Pharmacy at Gorman Health Group (GHG). In this role, she is responsible for leading a team of pharmacists, nurses and business analyst consultants with broad health plan, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience. Deb brings GHG clients more than 13 years of Medicare Part D operations expertise.

 

With GHG, Deb has led a number of engagements, including interim Director of Pharmacy, development of applications for new Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans and Special Needs Plans (SNPs), CMS corrective action plan responses, mock audits and audit preparedness, PBM contracting and implementation, Part D compliance, Medication Therapy Management auditing and strategy, and Delegation Oversight and Monitoring. Deb presents nationally and internationally and has published in the areas of drug utilization, mentoring, SNPs, Star ratings, and Pharma strategic planning.

 

Prior to her work at GHG, Deb was manager of the Drug Utilization Review Program for a state Medicaid program and an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. She began her career at University Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she served as Assistant Director of Pharmacy, was a voting member of the Institutional Review Board and supervised the clinical pharmacy programs.

 

Deb is a past president of American Society of Health – System Pharmacists (ASHP) and has served on several councils, commissions and committees for ASHP. She received her pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Regis University. She is a board certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. In 2003, she received the Distinguished Coloradan Award from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.
