Senior Consultant, Sales, Marketing and Strategy
Keitha Lackey is a Senior Consultant of Sales, Marketing and Strategy at Gorman Health Group (GHG). Keitha brings GHG clients 20 years of health insurance leadership experience across sales and marketing, product development, and operations. She is a voice of the client through managed program innovations and metrics-driven process improvement in healthcare reform. An articulate interpreter of the complexities of today’s healthcare environment, she navigates fluidly from strategy to execution and from the big picture to day-to-operations. Keitha’s natural aptitudes for numerical analysis, as well as her skill in understanding others’ perspectives are the drivers of her legacy of achievement and contribution in every role she has undertaken.
Most recently, Keitha was Director of the Transformation Office at a Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plan.. There she served as Chief of Staff to the President of Healthcare Innovations, a new subsidiary charged with developing innovative ideas in response to healthcare reform. Previously, Keitha was Director of Service Operations where she transformed three troubled departments into high-performing organizations through reorganization, automation, metrics management, and outsourcing.
In sales and marketing executive roles with the company, Keitha drove a successful $2 billion product suite serving Medicare, Individual, Small Group, and Federal Employee Program markets, grew Individual market enrollment 60 percent in three years, increased Medicare Advantage (MA) enrollment fivefold in two years, developed and launched Medicare health and Part D programs, and received a Benny Award from the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association for a sales campaign in the Medicare market. She was also tapped by the CEO to lead the evaluation and preparation for converting this non-profit company to a publicly-traded one. Keitha began her healthcare career as a Public Information Officer for the Virginia Department of Health.
Keitha received an MBA in Finance from Radford University and a BA in Communications from Virginia Tech. She is a member of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and serves on the Boards of Executive Women of New Jersey and InterOrganization Network (ION). She was a recent panel member on the topic of healthcare reform at a meeting of the Association for Corporate Growth.
