Leslie Miller is a Senior Consultant at Gorman Health Group (GHG). In this role, she has been involved in projects for Part D benefit administration and implementation, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) audit preparation and remediation, Part D readiness, and delegation oversight and monitoring. Leslie brings GHG clients nine years of extensive Medicare and Medicaid prescription drug clinical operational leadership experience. Her Part D elements of expertise include benefit administration testing, formulary and drug utilization management, medication therapy management (MTM), coverage determinations operations, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
Leslie’s outstanding communication and managerial skills, along with her demonstrated ability to successfully develop, implement, and direct multiple initiatives, are instrumental to her success in driving excellence.
Prior to joining GHG, Leslie was a Clinical Pharmacy Director with a leading managed care organization where she was responsible for pharmacy clinical operations for Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans (MA-PDs) and Special Needs Plans (SNPs). In this role, she had oversight of Medicare formulary management, MTM programs, coverage determinations, policy and procedure development, Part D reporting, and training and education programs. In addition to her managed care experience, Leslie has worked as a hospital pharmacy director in a large regional healthcare system and as a retail pharmacy manager and has vast involvement in the development and support of advanced pharmacy practice experience program sites for several pharmacy schools.
Leslie received her PharmD from the University of Florida, her BS Pharmacy from Auburn University, a BS from the University of Alabama specializing in nutrition/dietetics and her Geriatric Pharmacy (CGP) certification from the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (CCGP). Leslie resides in Virginia Beach with her family.
