Nancy Djordjevic

Director, Healthcare Analytics


Nancy Djordjevic is Director of Healthcare Analytics at Gorman Health Group (GHG). In this role, she develops feasibility studies for the viability of Medicare Advantage (MA) health plans as well as medical spend analyses to improve financial performance. Nancy brings GHG clients more than 30 years of multi-faceted expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, Federal Employees Health Benefit Plans, and Commercial insurance. Her specialties involve cost control and cost-saving strategies through financial analytics. Nancy has a broad insurance business knowledge relating to financial measures of operational performance across a wide range of markets and operations. She also understands commonalities between private and public markets, as well as the need to adapt to regulatory changes.

Nancy has served as Senior Director of Health Care Economics for a national health carrier and as Chief Financial Officer of a local Medicaid health plan. She excels in identifying performance targets and operational strategies for companies to meet changing environments such as mergers and acquisitions, data system migrations, and new products. She has identified and monitored initiatives such as $3.7 million savings from lower emergency room utilization, $4 million savings in better managed care for Federal Employees Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) population, as well as potential $5-$8 million in savings for MA plans without proper internal controls. She is currently customizing database needs for clients to monitor performance, as well as preparing feasibility studies for startup MA operations.

Moreover, Nancy serves on the board of directors for Evergreen Cooperative Health Care in Maryland and is past president of Baltimore Actuaries Club. Previously, she oversaw development of actuarial and product development operations as Vice President of Montgomery Insurance Companies (subsidiary of Liberty Mutual). She also managed the reorganization of underwriting functions for a national property and casualty company.

Nancy is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a degree in mathematics and completion of six actuarial exams through the Casualty Actuarial Society.
