Senior Vice President, Pharmacy ServicesDebra Devereaux brings to Gorman Health Group clients eight years of Medicare Part D operations expertise. Since the inception of Medicare Part D she has led a number of engagements for GHG, including interim Director of Pharmacy, development of applications for new MA-PDs and SNPs, CMS corrective action plan responses, mock audits and audit preparedness, PBM contracting and implementation, Part D compliance, Medication Therapy Management auditing and strategy, and Delegation Oversight and Monitoring. Deb leads a team of pharmacists and business analyst consultants with broad health plan, CMS and PBM experience.
Deb presents nationally and internationally and has published in the areas of drug utilization, mentoring, SNPs, Star ratings, and Pharma strategic planning.
Prior to her work at GHG, Deb was manager of the Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Program for a state Medicaid program and an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. She began her career at University Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she served as Assistant Director of Pharmacy, was a voting member of the IRB and supervised the clinical pharmacy programs.
She is a past president of ASHP and has served on several councils, commissions and committees for ASHP. She received her pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Regis University. She is a board certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. In 2003, she received the Distinguished Coloradan Award from the University of Colorado’s School of Pharmacy.
